DINE OUT GIVE BACK!

The Lowbrow deeply cares about the community and strives to help causes that benefit the greater good here in the Twin Cities. Our Dine Out Give Back program allows you to help too just by picking up a fork! On Monday evenings we donate a percentage of each patron’s bill to a particular organization or institution. Here is a list of the upcoming groups dining with us will help benefit:

JULY 31 – MPLS ROWING CLUB

The Minneapolis Rowing Club (MRC) is a non-profit community organization dedicated to inspiring a lifelong passion for the sport of rowing. They offer learn-to-row programs, competitive teams, private lessons, and recreational rowing for adults and youth over the age of 12. Go to www.MPLSRowing.org for more info

AUGUST 7 – AVENUES FOR HOMELESS YOUTH/YOUTH HOME NETWORK

Avenues for Homeless Youth provides emergency shelter, short-term housing and supportive services for homeless youth in a safe and nurturing environment. Through such service, Avenues seeks to help youth achieve their personal goals and make a positive transition into young adulthood. Find out more at AvenuesForYouth.org

AUGUST 14 – MY HEALTH

myHealth is a clinic in Hopkins, MN serving teens and young adults ages 12-26 for medical and mental health care. The clinic’s mission is to improve the health of our community by providing health services and information that support all teens and young adults in making responsible and well-informed decisions. AUGUST 21 – CALHOUN-ISLES COMMUNITY BAND

The Calhoun-Isles Community Band is a group of musicians based in Uptown, Minneapolis, dedicated to sharing concert band music through yearlong free concerts in the Twin Cities. To learn more, go to CalhounIslesBand.org

AUGUST 28 – SOUTHSIDE FAMILY NURTURING CENTER

Southside Family Nurturing Center was founded in 1974 on the belief that child abuse and neglect are preventable. Together with families and communities, we nurture children, build on family strengths and find alternatives to violence. Find out more at www.ssfnc.org

SEPTEMBER 4 – LABOR DAY, CLOSED

SEPTEMBER 11 – WASHBURN HIGH SCHOOL ROBOTICS TEAM

The Millerbots (Team 2549) are Washburn’s FIRST Robotics Competition Team. Team members gain experiences in real world engineering, design, and problem solving; they learn how to work together as a team and effectively communicate complex ideas. Find out more at www.WashburnMillerbots.com
