Our Response to coronavirus

The Lowbrow takes the health and safety of our guests and staff very seriously. Here are some of the additional policies we have instituted:

Employees are required to take their temperature upon entering the building and report any potential symptoms of illness. Employees will be immediately sent home if they feel ill in any way, or have an elevated temperature. Employees will be paid for the shift from which they are sent home, and for any additional time off required to quarantine.

In the instance of an employee testing positive for Covid, we will identify any additional employees who have come into contact with that employee, and remove them from the schedule immediately, with access to full payment. We will be fully compliant with the MN Department of Health, and are prepared to close the restaurant to take any necessary action to achieve total sanitation.

Facemasks are required of all employees at all times, and gloves are available. Hand washing frequently is required, and all employees have been trained in proper hand washing techniques, and are being monitored for compliance. Phone use by staff is prohibited.

Face shields are available to our staff. One staff member is exclusively responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the restaurant. This is their only job. High touch areas will be given a high level of focus.

Plexi-glass barriers have been installed at the bar, the host stand, and the server station.

Seating has been limited to no more than 50% capacity. Tables have been moved 6 feet apart in order to practice appropriate social distancing.

A plan for safely using the restroom is hanging on the door; with suggestions to use a paper towel to open the door after use, and a trash receptacle available for the paper towel. A hand sanitizer station is located just outside the restrooms.

Hand sanitizing stations have been established throughout the restaurant.

When Dining In

Reservations are required per MN ordinance.  Reservation length will be determined upon accepting the reservation, in order to accommodate complete sanitizing of chairs, booths, and tabletops.

Guests will be asked to conduct a self-check of their body temperature the day of their reservation. Guests will be asked to keep a face covering on when interacting with employees. Guests may remove their face covering when eating and drinking, but we respectfully ask that they re-mask when an employee is present.

Guests will not be permitted to wait in the dining room for a seat. We will happily take your phone number and call you when your seat is ready. Please walk around the block or sit in your car.

A limit of 4 guests may be seated together at a table, unless the guests are a household, then the limit is six guests, per MN ordinance.

QR Code menus are available at every table. Single use menus are available upon request.

Condiments and salt & pepper shakers are available upon request only, and will be sanitized after every use.

Water will be served upon request only. Boxes are provided to guests to box your own food.

We promise to offer you the cleanest environment in which to dine as is possible. We will all work together in this community to slow the spread of Coronavirus.
